Our Introductory Classes are mandatory for the individual who wants to workout in our CrossFit group classes. If you are looking to lose weight fast, gain muscle, confidence, boost your moral and have lots of fun doing it, this gym is the place for you. The Free Introductory Classes are called our Foundation Classes and you will be taught all of the foundational movements of CrossFit. The course meets for four classes over two weeks. The days and hours are Tuesday and Thursday at 8PM and it does require a reservation. The Free Introductory classes are not to be combined with any other discounts, coupons or groupons.
During the one-hour Free Introductory Classes you will, along with other beginners, will be working with a personal trainer, certified coach who will safely expose you to our movement curriculum in a small group setting. Movement techniques will be drilled as well as a progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our group classes.
Following the completion of the Free Introductory Classes. A personal trainer certified coach will ensure that you are ready to safely transition into our CrossFit group classes. All of the Free Introductory Classes must be completed before you may attend our regularly scheduled CrossFit group classes. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to class.
On Thursday night during your Free Introductory Classes you will be coached on the foundational movements of CrossFit. You will learn the gymnastic moves such as pull ups, push ups, air squats, box jumps, ring dips, rope climbs and all of the modifications for these movements.
On Tuesday night during your Free Introductory Classes you will be coached on Olympic Lifting and Power Lifting moves. You will be taught the correct posture and movement that is required to lift weights safely and injury free.
CrossFit Lighthouse personal trainer, coaches, staff and members make it an easy transition into the group classes after you are finished with your Free Introductory Classes. Every one is welcoming and cheering you on to your next level of fitness!!!
